History

1997
  • The Free University of Bozen/Bolzano is founded as a free, state-recognized university.
1999
  • The Bachelor in Agricultural Science and Agricultural Economics overseen by the Faculty of Economics is initiated.
  • The Bachelor in Logistics and Production Engineering begins in collaboration with the Politecnico di Torino (Turin, Italy).
2007 
  • The Faculty of Science and Technology is formerly recognized by the University Council.
  • The Coordination Committee begins its activities.

The Faculty of Science and Technology begins its lectures:
  • Bachelor in Agricultural Science and Agricultural Economics (integrated from the Faculty of Economics)
  • Bachelor in Logistics and Production Engineering
  • Master 2nd level "CasaClima - KlimaHaus" (integrated from the Faculty of Economics)
2008
  • Prof. Massimo Tagliavini is elected founding Dean
  • Prof. Maria Letizia Bertotti is nominated Vice-Dean
